In Tanzania si trovano le riserve faunistiche più ricche e più belle d’Africa.L’11% del suo territorio è coperto da questi parchi. In nessun’altro posto si può sperare di trovare una tale concentrazione e abbondanza di animali selvatici come nelle riserve di Serengeti e del Selous. Il vasto cratere del Ngorongoro è unico e la vista dall’alto della gigantesca caldera di questo vulcano, con il suo pullulare di animali, è indimenticabile.I leoni appollaiati sugli alberi intorno al lago Manyara, le foreste di Baobab nel Parco Tarangire, le pianure senza fine del Serengeti punteggiate dai suoi granitici Kopjes o dalla lunga fila di gnu durante la migrazione, l’imponente massiccio del Kilimanjaro, l’Olimpo africano con i suoi quasi 6000 metri e, infine, i lunghi selvaggi fiumi Rufiji nel Selous e Ruaha sono spettacoli diventati ormai famosi in tutto il mondo.
